With the fall upon us, I find my style changing more this season than ever before. I am known for my love of color but in recent months I have been favoring slightly more muted and neutral color palettes. Leopard has emerged as my preferred pattern this season, I utilise it as the boldest of neutrals. It began with my purchase of a leopard book tote from Dior. Everyone knows my adoration for the Book Tote, and when September came I found myself yearning for a new edition of one of my best-loved bags. I purchased the leopard almost instantaneously when I saw it, I knew it had to be mine. The leopard book tote has quickly become my go-to bag this season, bringing a statement to my more muted looks. My love for leopard this season also has me revisiting some old favorites in my wardrobe, like a leopard-reminiscent printed Prada coat in tones of grey, orange and purple. I have already worn it twice this season! I am seeing brands use statement prints on such a large scale, Dior’s recent pre-fall collection was dominated by leopard, everything from the Book Tote to iconic staples like the Lady Dior, Bar Jacket, and slingbacks are available in leopard, several of which have made their way to the top of my wishlist. Many other fashion houses have followed suit and I have a feeling we will be seeing leopard all winter long!
